Called Companion Meadow, it is a peaceful cremation garden that includes several options for memorializing beloved animals, including columbarium niches and a variety of monuments. The interior of the mausoleum is more Gothic in design, and the floors and walls are finished in marble. There is also a small chapel inside for services of up to 75 people. In the early 2000s, Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary opened on the grounds of Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Originally, the basement of the Tower of Memories mausoleum was used to prepare the deceased, but eventually, a funeral home was built across the street from the cemetery. Later on, the funeral home closed and was moved to downtown Denver.

We offer these tours for individuals; adult groups; families; school groups; and children's groups, such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Those scheduling the tour can choose the tour theme. Fredrick Chislett, landscape architect and first superintendent, moves his family into a cabin on the south approach of the cemetery's highest point, called The Crown. Crown Hill Cemetery is incorporated as a nonprofit, nondenominational, nonsectarian cemetery with a board of 30 corporators. Five hundred and fifty-five acres is a lot to navigate, and with more than 190,000 gravesites, Crown Hill Cemetery can seem overwhelming when you are trying to locate a particular loved one.
Most guided tours last 90 minutes, are walking tours and cover about one mile at what is a comfortable pace for most. We also offer driving tours in your cars, vans and very small buses.
